The University of Washington Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is committed to empowering Hispanic students and other underrepresented communities to reach their full potential in STEM. Through academic support, professional development, mentorship, networking, and community outreach, we create opportunities for students to grow as scholars, leaders, and future professionals. Guided by the values of familia, service, education, and resilience, our chapter strives to build an inclusive community where every member feels supported and prepared to make a meaningful impact at UW and beyond.
