Please read! Future Meets Present has been cancelled!

Due to the unfortunate events of the COVID-19 outbreak and the ban of large group settings, we have decided to cancel Future Meets Present. Although, we were looking forward to hosting all of you this April, we strongly believe that your safety and health is our top priority. We are saddened to have made this decision, but we look forward to hosting you all again in next year’s Future Meets Present. The UW Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers is proud to present Future Meets Present! This exciting event aims to encourage YOU to not only pursue higher education, but also to promote diversity in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

FAQ:

Is this event free?

Yes! This event is free for all high school students.

Will transportation be provided?

If you live East of the Cascade Mountains, transportation will be provided with two pickup locations in Yakima and Pasco. An exact address will be sent once all students are registered.

How will I know that I am invited to the event?

We will send an e-mail to all students the week of March 25th! With a capacity-constrained room and charter bus, we typically have a waitlist. In past years, most students have gotten off of the waitlist due to cancellations so please check your email often!
